Terms & Privacy

The short version: Beton Works keeps your site records on your own device, and asks for nothing it does not need.

What this app is

Beton Works is a planning and record-keeping tool for building work. It calculates quantities, tracks builds and punch lists, follows concrete through its curing period, keeps a tool crib and a site diary, and carries a reference handbook.

Not a substitute for engineering. Every figure produced by this app — volumes, mix strengths, curing gates, reinforcement weights, falls — is a planning aid based on conventional rules of thumb. Structural work must be designed, checked and, where required, tested by a suitably qualified person. You accept sole responsibility for how these numbers are used.

Your data

Everything you enter — builds, punch items, pours, tools, crew, diary pages, photographs and estimates — is written to storage inside the app's own container on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and there is no account to create.

Deleting it

Settings → Site Data → Clear Everything removes all records immediately. Deleting the app removes the container, the keychain entry and every photograph with it.

Permissions

Camera — only when you attach a photograph to a diary page. Images stay on the device.
Photo library — only when you pick an existing photograph for a diary page.
Notifications — local reminders for punch-item due dates, the formwork strike gate on a pour, and tool service intervals; plus occasional service messages.
Motion sensors — read live, never recorded, to drive the on-device spirit level.

Every one of these is optional. Refusing any of them disables that feature and nothing else.

Notifications

Remote notifications use Apple Push Notification service via Firebase Cloud Messaging. To route a message to this installation we register a randomly generated install identifier together with the push token issued by the operating system. That identifier is not derived from your device, your hardware, or anything about you, and it is discarded when the app is deleted.

You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings, or clear all scheduled reminders from within the app.

Analytics & tracking

Beton Works does not track you across apps or websites, does not build an advertising profile, does not sell data, and contains no third-party advertising.

Children

This app is intended for people working in construction and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Liability

Beton Works is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay or cost arising from the use of this app or reliance on its output. If you are unwilling to accept that, do not use the app.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the updated document appears the next time the app opens. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the revision.
